you are not a U.S. citizen and are currently in the United States on an F-1 (student) visa and a J-1 (student) visa.
you will require an F-1 visa and a J-1 visa to enter and study in the United States.
you are currently in the United States on some other class of visa. Please submit a copy of the visa from your passport.

- Prior to admission, international students must provide proof of English proficiency in the form of a TOEFL test or other approved examination options. Learn more about GCU's English Proficiency Requirements.
- Prospective international students must provide documents and transcripts that show completion of a high school degree or equivalent. Learn more about GCU's Transcript Evaluation Process for International Students.
- Documentation of financial support for the first year is required for GCU to begin the process for an international applicant to obtain a visa. Submission of official certification of sources and funds at the time of application is strongly encouraged and may expedite the visa process.

- Once the international student is accepted to GCU, the visa process must take place. GCU will partner with the international student to obtain the student visa. Learn more about the student visa process .
- The applicant must have on deposit, in an account in the Office of Business Affairs of GCU, sufficient funds to cover tuition, books, fees, and personal expenses for one academic semester. The amount may differ in each applicant's case, and average amount of deposit made is approximately $3,000.00.
- Proof of accident and health insurance must be submitted along with the application for admission. Students who can prove that they have comparable insurance coverage will not be required to purchase insurance policy through the university.
- All of the above items must be submitted to Admissions Office no later than four (4) months prior to the student's planned enrollment. The university will issue a SEVIS (I-20) after all documents above have been completed and approved by the International Student Advisor in consultation with Admissions Committee at GCU.
Note : Every International Student applying for an admission is required to pay an International Student Fee in the amount of $500.00 for administrative expenses.
